Set around one of the world’s most recognizable harbors, Sydney is known for its dynamic waterfront, iconic skyline, and year-round outdoor events.
Candock has been used to support temporary floating event installations. In April 2024, Aqua Rugby Australia hosted the Aqua Rugby Festival in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, using a 30 x 30 metre floating pitch for a full-contact rugby union format played directly over the water.
This event illustrates how Candock modular docks can be deployed for short-term sports events, festivals, and waterfront activations, then dismantled once the event concludes. Candock systems are also well suited for rental-based event solutions, offering flexibility without permanent infrastructure.
