55^th annual Vancouver International Boat Show: we were there.

Western Canada’s largest boat show, the annual Vancouver International Boat Show, held its 55^th edition from January 18 to the 22, 2017. Candock was there to support its distributor, Candock BC, and to promote its latest innovative products. The 55^th annual Vancouver International Boat Show featured the newest and most innovative boats, accessories, amenities, and included entertaining guest appearances. This year’s show highlighted a vast array of emerging products and brought together educational speakers and guests. From Bravo’s hit television show Below Deck, Helmsman and Captain Harold Lee Rosbach, who oversees command of a 154’ superyacht, to Kelowna’s Formula 1 driver Mike McLellan and the NMEA 2000® ConnectFest, this year’s show presented many entertaining and educational attractions. Highlights included the return of the Hands-On Skills Training (HOST) clinics at the Granville Island floating show, with sessions designed for those who wanted to learn fundamental close quarters boat handling skills. For a real hands-on experience that puts you at the helm, these free, first-come, first-served learning events helped attendees develop many necessary skills that will last a lifetime, enhance their boating experience and definitely prove that BC is even better when boating. The event was a real success, and Candock will surely participate again. Will you be there next year? We will.
